MFC International were recently requested to demonstrate a lifting solution for a range of military vehicles on a sand dune environment for the Belgian Armed Forces.
The vehicles ranged from small 4x4's to large armoured vehicles weighing 12 tonnes. A set of our flat profiled Stak Jak lifting bags was used along with a triple controller, regulator and hoses. This provided an incredibly stable lift even in the shifting sand environment.
An opportunity was given for all representatives to get hands-on experience with the system, with Stak Jaks tackling each challenge with ease. The flat profile of the Stak Jak has several distinct advantages over traditional ovoid lifting bags of which the most significant is the ability to safely stack up to three bags together. This enables a greater lift height without the risk of sudden ejection or instability that is possible when stacking ovoid bags.
